Why Wallpaper Makes an Ideal Accent Wall
There's many amazing ideas for creating feature walls.
So many different products & materials available for making a really unique & eye-catching centrepiece for any room.
But wallpaper is still one of the easiest, but wonderful materials to work with for making an accent wall.
Here's just some of the reasons that I can think of for choosing wallpaper, but I'm sure you may have your own.
1. Doesn't need to be expensive. There are very expensive papers available if you really want something of extraordinary quality. But many beautiful wall coverings can be obtained for a few dollars a roll.
2. Modern wallpapers are a lot easier to hang. A feature wall can be done in a weekend, if not quicker.
3. Huge choice. There's so many papers made from different materials, patterns & styles. Whether you want traditional, farmhouse, boho, industrial or a more modern look, there's a wallpaper to suit your decor style.
4. You can change your mind. With the advent of removable wallpaper, it's not too big a deal if you change your decor in a year or 3. As you're only papering a small area, it's an inexpensive proposition to swap out the old for the new.
5. You can do it yourself. The methods for hanging modern wall coverings has come such a long way since the old paste method, that if you're up for it you can do it yourself & save another added expense of hiring a decorator.
